Pantone Color of the Year 2017: Greenery

Pantone just announced its color of the year for 2017 and it is…. GREENERY! This has to be my favorite color they have chosen. I just love greenery. In the past few years greenery has really made its mark in the wedding industry. Gone are the days when greenery was just a filler. It is now a statement in the wedding decor. Many times, greenery can even be more cost effective than flowers. So it is a great addition to any wedding decor.

So I had to share some of my favorite greenery looks to help inspire you to embrace this staple for 2017!

The centerpieces for Lauren and Brandon’s wedding at the Biltwell Event Center were all greenery. They are definitely some of my favorite looks of this this year. Her simple greenery centerpieces were classy and modern, they worked perfect for her classic New York themed wedding.

Lauren and Ricardo embraced greenery in the garden style wedding at Laurel Hall. I loved all the details of their wedding especially the long garland of greenery down the head table and on the fireplace mantel. It all looked stunning!!

The mixture of greenery used in Sean and Shannon’s wedding is also some of my favorite. Gayle from Florist Fire used succulents as well as greenery like eucalyptus and Italian ruscus to bring together their eclectic, stylish reception. It was so great coordinating their wedding and working along with the amazing Kimberly Hensley.
